What is CERT?

CERT is Carbon Emissions Reduction Target a scheme initiated by the Government and administered by OFGEM specifically designed to reduce carbon emissions within residential properties across the United Kingdom.

Products approved under CERT must demonstrate an ability to reduce CO2 emissions when used in an average residential application. Compliant products are  awarded a CO2 reduction figure by OFGEM and as such are approved for use under the scheme.
